(Alright! Haha! I have conquered photobucket! It has uploaded my photo and the game will continue now, sorry for the wait.)

Jon and Cheeetar's Path

Jon and Cheeetar talk amongst themselves in front of the monster. The monster would pounce on them, but talking is a free action.

Rooster's Path

I peak at the situation, ready to run away anytime

Rooster slowly scopes out the path of blood trepidatiously, ready to run at the slightest sign of trouble. He senses no danger and continues into the forest, until he finds an unusual sight.

The Man that was calling for help has already passed away, apparently from the multiple stab wounds in his stomach. You take a closer look, and you realize you recognize this person, it's Brent the shopkeeper!

Next to his body is a bag of gold coins.

what do you do?

Hmm...

Jon tries to talk with the beast!

"Hello there."

If it doesn't work he throws the wad of hay at it, hoping to distract it before running away!

I whink I know who did that.
For safety of randomness and to safety of what GM has planned I do that:
I claim coins as my own (and anything that I find)
Put it on the ground, use vegas coin on it.
If:
I won, then YAY!
If not, then nobody can accuse me of stealing the money, cause I have none.

Its a win-win situation really.

Jon tries to talk to the beast, completely discounting the fact that it's a savage beast.

The Beast interprets this as a sign of aggression, it attacks Jon! Jon and Cheeetar and now both in close-range Combat.

Roll: 1 (1 + 6 = 7)

The Beast swipes at Jon with his mighty arm, but only glances him, dealing 7 damage! Jon now has 2 hp.

What do you do? (In combat, the turns are handled differently, the monster will not attack until both Jon and Cheeetar expend their turns. Jon and Cheeetar should take note that they can only do 1 thing per turn in combat)

Rooster walks over and claims the coins as his own, the bag contained 20 gold coins. Rooster looks about, and finds nothing else.

Rooster Places the bag of coins on the ground, and declares he's making a bet with Vegas, and flips the coin.

Coin Flip: Tails

The bag of coins disappears.

A Man appears from hiding!

It's the lunatic from the river. He has apparently restored his health, so the lunatic (20hp) holding his knife (+2) leers at you angrily. He is blocking the path you took from the road.

"I needed that money, you lying conniving piece of crap! I know who you are, I'll never let you take me alive! I'll get revenge! Prepare to die!"

The man speaks incoherently, and shuffles toward you, preparing to attack.

What do you do?

Yeah. He has a better weapon so it would be crazy to think that I can win, so
I try to disarm him, and if I succed I grab his weapon.

Rooster tries to grab the knife out of the Lunatic's hand, but he has an iron grip and refuses to let go for anything!

"Bastard!"

The man attacks!

Roll: 5 (5 + 2 = 7)

the man stabs Rooster, dealing 7 damage! Rooster now has 12 hp. Rooster is now in close-range combat!

I've decided that allowing a 50/50 chance of swatting the weapon out of your opponent's hand and equipping yourself with it is far too overpowered. Sorry!

RUN RUN RUN

"Cheetar, stay behind!"

Both Jon and Cheeetar come to the conclusion that running is a better option than avenging their humble ferrywoman. They run northward along the west side of the river.

The monster gives chase! The monster is on there heels. If they stop running, the monster'll have a chance to attack again!

What do you do? (as game-time progresses, I'll move you further and further northward, once you hit the border of the map you won't be able to run anymore... or will you?).

Also, I need some finalization on your action Rooster.
