so despite living apart, we are a cohesive group of dwarves working together?

General construction work has been split between the Haulers and Constructors.  Sometime soon I am going to individually assign people to their workshops and make sure that hauling is disabled for the right things.  Basically your guild gets improved when you have the means or the clout to get things done.


Digging is being done as needed.  No legendary miners in the first year that way.

I like the way your building the guilds. It's more of a city than a single fortress. Nice to know i'm having more fun patrolling and smashing things then building ^_^

Course I thank Vucar for lending the room ^_^

them peasants look like they can haul bins with lightning speed!

A request I have though is that my guild should get a 'gymnasium'. that would basically be comprised of a half dozen un-connected screw pumps for the laborers to improve their hauling skills upon.

no, but their stats can increase, causing them to never get weary, be able to haul anything, and do it all in less than a second.

Mistress Minkot, leader of the Glassmaker's Guild.  She is trusting, which is good because their is no sand on the map.  (I plan to add it to the desert biome at some point)  She also likes green glass.

Haulers get 1 peasant
Fighters get 1 peasant
Farmers get the planter
Traders get the carpenter

no problem.

speaking of which, I'm going to make a blueprint for the future blacksmith hall. It will involve magma and waterfalls and... well, I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to make deals with the wood cutters and miners...
