Staticbasements: Community fort - found your own guildhall!

This is how this works.  Choose a dwarf, their skills, and 224 monies of supplies.  Your goal is to found a guild house for your profession. Request will be honored in the designing of your meeting hall.  Keep in mind that if your profession does no real work, no work will be done for your guild.

The guilds you found should be basic, you can split up as the fort grows.  I suggest something like; woodsdwarf lodge, masons guild, farmers guild, artisans guild, etc...

As immigrants arrive more people can join into the guilds.  How you run your guild is your own business, but I will roleplay a change in leadership if suitable.  Feel free to make deals with other guilds, i.e. masons trade a stone roof for beds and doors from the woodworkers.

Important notes about the map.  There is a magma pipe, an aquifer, and bauxite in the parent civ.  I'm not sure about sand, but there may be a chasm. Our civ is at war with the elves. High savagery too.  The fort will be somewhat aboveground, so expect danger.

The story will be told in the form of pictures with entertaining little stories.

so how does this work?

EDIT: I'll bring a pick, 9 units of wood, a bucket, a stone (if there is no available stone) for a quern, 2 units of leather, and the rest of the money is divided as such-

1/2 of remaining for plump helmets
1/4 of remaining for pig tail seeds
1/4 of remaining for sweet pods
__________________________________________________________________
Priorities-
1st- set up base camp and plant a massive underground farm
2nd- dig working a living quarters
3rd- set up carpentry shop, kitchen, and a still
4th- get more people, and haul things for other guilds in return for supplies.

Well you can choose some skills and equipment if you like.  Other than that it is up to you, perhaps you could refuse to haul anything until the other guilds build you a meeting hall.

PS i changed your profession to 'Haulmaster'

Edit: Your equipment has been bought, excepting the bucket but you have an extra log.

The Traders Guild has been founded by Minkot 'Tradebeard' Bothonmorul!  He brings 122 units of cat meat.

(Not exactly sure how much the stuff costs so i'm just gonna estimate here O.o. I suggest getting everything in the poorest quality you can get since weapons and armor tend to be expensive)

The Fighters Guild has been founded by Reg Anuzoltar, he brings a rather overpriced steel mace.
I'm sure your fellow guildsdwarves will come to value their safety.

Alright then, i'll go with the mace. Also just to say, I doubt the traders will be coming in with any equipment that isn't steel.

I'll take Nil Stinrith, founder of the Trappers' Guild.

Points into Mechanics(4), Animal Training(2), and Ambushing(2), to get the free crossbow. Although, Nil shouldn't be suicidal. If the local creatures are too tough, especially if there is a chasm, turn off hunting, please.

Stuff:
2 Large, serrated copper discs
4 Lead Cages
20 units of Dwarven Beer
and 2 hunting dogs.

Guild Functions:
Defense from unwanted visitors, without worrying about guards who may slack off.
A supply of various creatures, large and small.*
Fresh meat from various game.**
Need a friend, but have poor social skills? Buy one of our trained dogs, guaranteed to cheer you up and protect you.***

*The Trappers' Guild is not responsible for any mishaps involving said creatures.
**Only applicable in some areas.

Nutsy: the Tacticians guild.
Strife miner/architect/crossbow

two points to ambusher
two point to miner
two to x/bow
two to wrestling

He'll bring along a pick, plus some leather (groundhog preferably) and places the rest in a mix of rum and turtles.

Strife, a dwarf with a plan. He seeks to cooperate with as many diseperate jobs as possible. The guild will specialize in mining, fortifications, megaprojects, and siege weapons. If at all possible, he'll gain control of a fair number of snipers and swordsmen, along with some stake in metal and leather working (in the far future).

Two more have joined our convoy.  Nil Stinrith founds the Trappers Guild and Kel 'Nutsy' Stibmermelbil the Tacticians Guild. (sorry only girls left, but her name is Stibmermelbil)

That leaves the last two girls, Nish Kenmafol and Inod Olinkerlig, up for grabs.

The Construction guild with Nish Kenmafol in the lead.
Various proffessions, but the main proffession being Architecture.
1/4 of the starting capital shall go to stone.
Another 1/4 shall go to wood.
And the rest is booze/meat.
