isnt it good the hammerdwarf is dead? this way he cant beat the last few survivors to death for not making more green glass cups or brass doors. because that would be an extremely silly way to have your last free dwarves end.

Actually, I noticed and read in the wiki that hte hammerdwarf does not punish when there is no guard/military. It takes up their task when they fail, but they aren't present so he does not take the task.  ;D

Hmm, anyone know what graphics pack that is? I think it's the one I had before the September update.

Shoot. They're eating faster than they're producing.

Looks like this'll be a cycle thing.  :o

You have an animal over-population problem, and a starvation problem at the same time? You are aware that a butcher's shop exists precisely to solve this sort of problem, right?

Had. An animal overpopulation problem. =P

And before, all cats were adopted (or nearly all), and they were tantrumming too badly to care about butchering.

Sometimes the hammerer can be a good thing, if they encounter the invaders first.

Buy food from caravans, get a decent farm going, and don't cook the plump helmets.

Or alter the files so you can eat goblins.

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.
