Everyone knows the difference between a coral snake and a scarlet kingsnake, Sillybilly.

It felt a bit like a movie in which two stoners try to steal a military helicopter

I recently got a corn snake. They're cute, cuddly, and kill pests.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

Caterpillars freak me the fuck out. I had to close the browser window after that hairy one. Still feeling disturbed.

When I was 8 one of my friends tried to pick up a spined catapiler and a spine went throgh his fingertip. I've been scared of catapullers ever since

I really like caterpillars. There's something beautiful and romantic about a fat, slow, ugly worm that transforms into a fluttery, flying butterfly.

I suppose you guys never grew up with the things crawling everywhere. Around here we have something called Gypsy Moths, which create these silk things everywhere and leave their brood to crawl everywhere. Just a few weeks ago I left a sweater outside and a few hours later at dinner I found five of their caterpillars in it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Needless to say, I don't mind the little guys.

AFAIK they are eating leaves, so I wouldn't say that they are harmless.  :P

I don't like caterpillars... got scared once when I was around 3 or 4, by a really big one moving really fast. I know most are probably harmless, but still.
Funny when my graduate project will be about a kind of maggot.

Gypsy moths are an invasive species and eat everything, so I wouldn't consider them harmless.
