Water bears

These little guys can live basically anywhere on the planet
And even off the planet.

Also, they're adorable.

Okay, this time...something not so cute!  ;D

Oarfish
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oarfish

Oarfish are large, greatly elonated, pelagic Lampriform fish comprising the small family Regalecidae. Found in all temperate to tropical oceans yet rarely seen, the oarfish family contains four species in two genera. One of these, the king of herrings (Regalecus glesne), is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest bony fish alive, at up to 11 metres (36 ft) in length.

If we're talking about wacky fish, how about the mudskipper:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUaB7p5qaII&feature=related

As you can see they are amphibious fish that can hold their breath in much the same way as we do. They spend a large part of their lives above watter, hunting insects. They do have to keep wet though...

Lungfish are larger, and are considered vermin. This fish need not worry us. It is cat chow.

Adorable? We'll see how you think about them once they take over the world.
And trust me,they will. Pretty soon they'll be able to withstand a direct nuclear attack(no,not really). Imagine if they were as big as us...

Smart enough to turn door handles. That is all we need to know.
