Fishhook sneaks up on the paralyzed Zefie and takes a stab at his side. He slices Trifes, piercing some vital organ or other that Zefies have. Trifes tries to retaliate, but it is too late. Fishhook has backed off out of range. The Zefie collapses into a puddle of noodles, lifeless.

Trifes is sent back to the red base with one less life.

Karlito sends a stunning bolt at Ace. Rolls 1d3->3, Hit. Rolls 1d2->2, Stun.
Karlito charges up a stunning attack and sends it flying at Ace. The attack hits and completely immobilizes him for the next turn.

Org shoots at Ace twice. First rolls 1d12->7, Miss. Second rolls 1d12->6, Miss.
Org loads his first bolt into the crossbow. Aims and then fires at Ace. The bolt thuds against a far wall. Org loads a second bolt. He aims then fires again. The bolt again misses, skidding off the stone road beside him.

actually it's a better then 1 in 8 chance. if he rolls a base 8 he wins automatically because 1d4+2 max = 6 1d8-3+2 = 7

oh damn, that's right.  I forgot about the +2 whip bonus.  But the highest he can roll is a 6 because he gets -1 for being stunned.
