Frelock, I need you to travel down the northern tunnels and intercept SHADOWdump. It looks like he's gonna try to go around our main attack force.

Are you kidding?  I've got 1d4 on offense, less on defense.  Also, he's a rogue, so my traps don't work on him.  I'd have to risk hitting him dead-on, and the offensive player wins (if he hits my back, there's no way I could win).  And if I died, I'd be right back where I started and waiting for him to kill me again for my complete annihilation.  I'm loyal to Bloodgears, but I'm not suicidal.  I'm going to lay a few traps around the base and then go for a better weapon.  Zako would probably be the best suited for taking him out.

What are you talking about? you're perfect for the job!

Think of it this way, he's a rogue, but it's a narrow corridor, meaning as long as your facing forward, he can never backstab you, period.

You both have daggers, meaning you both have 7 movement, meaning that if you don't want to get hit, all you have to do is stay eight squares away and he can never hit you, period.

If HE doesn't want to get hit first, then he has to remain 8 squares away from you too, lest you get the first attack.

If he chickens out, then that gives US enough time to circle around through the back entrance, and corner him.

Ontop of all that, you're a mechanic, meaning you can set unavoidable traps in the corridor as your going through, stopping future attackers from considering it as a route.

It's a perfect plan.

Three very important points you missed (well, two really)

1. He's a rogue (he can walk through spaces occupied by enemy players.  This leads to the ULTIMATE ROGUE COMBO where a rogue player walks through the space occupied by another player to the other side, and proceeds to stab them in the back)

2. He's a rogue (traps don't work on rogues)

3. He's already killed me once (meaning I have severe doubts as to whether I will be able to kill him)

I'm not outfitted for combat right now; I chose a dagger so I could move quickly and get some traps set up.  Wait till I get my whip from the weapons rack, then I'll be combat ready.

Fine, be that way Frelock. We'll just have to deal with SHADOW when he becomes a bigger problem.

Since Frelock wants to ditch, I'll need cheeetar to lag behind kinda sorta, so that when SHADOW enters the big, open corridor to get our artifact, he'll be prime picking for a long range unit. His rogue class won't protect him from arrows.

All red mercs, join us in our en masse murder charge. Team up, they have a wizard, so getting stunned will mostly likely be lethal, but less so if you have a partner.
