The Trade Depo has already been built and trading is underway good sir.  It appears the Chinese have come to trade with us.  The Vieto twins crafts have allowed us to acquire a large amount of food, some bags, some cages and a couple nice looking gems.

Also, as Asmel was eating the Fluffy Wamblers which I have told him repeatedly to stop eating he was spooked by a filthy spy, (thief.)

The Southern Moat has been spanned by a bridge, south of the bridge a road is underworks and north of it the pressure plate Fluffy Wambler surprise is being laboriously constructed.  Surely no enemy will dare risk the Wambler Surprise.

At the north side of our settlement a new room was dug out for extra stone.  I have no idea what we'll do with this empty space once the stone is removed.

And as you can see in the lower left, the metalsmithing area has been constructed.  All that it requires is Charcoal for the forge and metal nuggets to smelt into bars.

I was wondering why that cage was so heavy.  It seems the chinese have sold us a dead horse. . . in a cage.

I'm having trouble with the pictures.  I mandate the use of PTTG's tileset.

Mike Mayday GFX pack max is what I shall continue to play with.  Mandate Vetoed!

Winters tenacious grip has grasped this land.  The river has not frozen and snow has not been sighted.  But the cold is here.  The interior is being dug out with new haste.

The spiral stairs shall encompass the fortress, south of that the great bridges will be extended in peace times and the narrow walk defended in times of war.

With the relocation of our Depo, Wagons will be unable to access our point of trade unless this rocky landscape is tamed.  Vieto will see it done.

There has been much argument about the benefits water filled moat.  However, the extra source of future water has decided me on this matter.

I mandate that the new room be used as a dining hall, with a waterfall.

Mandate Accepte-  Oh dear.  It seems your mandate will haft to be delayed.  The River just froze.

A few days later after the river froze, a thief arrived.  To steal our hard work and honor.  But wait, Most Equal One is there with his axe.

Most Equal charged the Kobold.  But it dodged to the side and Equal found himself plummeting into our dry moat.

I've had a change of heart.  The moat will remain dry.

Aw, but Mayday's stuff is so confusing.  Some walls and bridges look like trees, and the text is hard to read.  Besides, PTTG's tileset is a mix between ASCII and graphics.

Maybe you could set it so that in full screen you use one tileset and in windowed mode you used the other (does that even work with graphics on?)?  That way ASCII comrades and graphic comrades can still have their needs fullfilled.

I have a mandate.

2.

1. Massive storage chamber for every single item.

Like, srsly. Massive. 50 by 30 massive. >_>

2. A factory. Meaning a chamber that houses all the workshops, rather then just a bunch of rooms for the workshops.

I want a dwarf: his name shall be Napoleon, and he shall be a butcher/tanner/leatherworker. I also mandate the digging of tunnels, until we hit some kind of iron ore.

We need 1 more trap on both sides of the 3 traps, now enemies can move from the fields besides those 2 onto the bridge! Or a wall on those sides so ppl must take the traps

Code: [Select]
TTTTT
.| |.
.| |.

Or

Code: [Select]
#TTT#
.| |.
.| |.

where | | =bridge
.=Moat
T=Trap
#=Wall

Yearly Report.  Spring has arrived!

A wall is underway to supplement the existing moat.  A water system is being designed underground and the dining area is being worked upon.

The winter freeze has purged the river of danger.  Allowing us to fish its bounty.
