Can I count that as vote in favour of my proposal? :)

Well personally i'm still against it, i think we should wait for the great leader to tell us what's going to happen, a voting? His desision?(i think i typed that incorrect) Who knows?

I'm neutral on the filling of the moat. While it is aesthetically pleasing, and would drown any foes that enter, we must remember that the moat will freeze over in the winter and leave us vulnurable.

Speaking of winter, has anyone made any plans for a water supply during the winter? Perhaps we should dig out an underground reservoir and drain a pool into it.

Edit: And until my mandate is met, I will help Snuffs in the fields to feed our population.

When my dwarf reveals that his true name is sdp0et (a mechanic or mason, preferably), he also strongly suggests that individual bedchambers are a must.  That Geo fellow in the next bunk smells of fish, and I didn't come here to live with that!

sdp0et has been stressed lately. He was been accosted by work recently. He has been annoyed by coworkers. He admired a wonderful bed today. He admired a wonderful woman today.  He needs Coca-Cola to get through the working day.

I demand that all dwarves who have been maimed or extremely old be retired to lavish bedrooms and dining rooms, or at least be given them as a reward for their sacrifice. Of course all other dwarves must get equally nice rooms.

I demand that, since there are now 3 dwarves who have skills in metalsmithing, that my female counterpart be given a pick.

I missed the second Vieto. Since we already have two metalsmiths, Fortis can focus on forging the metal and making the charcoal (if needed), while still moonlighting as a farmer. I didn't mean to usurp your role.

Whenever a new tide of migrants comes in I would like to request a dwarf.

Name:  Mook
Skills:  Brewer/Grower/Herbalist/Miller
Gender:  Doesn't matter

A society cannot survive on fervor alone!  Farmers must exist to provide food (and more importantly, booze) for the people!

Edit:  Also, sorry for being a spelling nerd, but corrupt is spelled with an o rather than a u.

Just so I remember

Just got back from work, give me an hour, gawd.  I work hard for the good of the society you know.  Your demands on me are very. . . unsocialist.

I may haft to start a KGB - (Committee for State Security ) to deal with you trouble makers.

The Bureauc-  Internal State Affairs is having trouble keeping up with all the mandates.  With only 7 men and woman on the whole work force landmass, we've been having trouble keeping up with meeting these unreasonable demands.

So I have started a MWL, (Mandate Waiting List) to go along with my KGB.

The farm production mandate and cut down the single tree mandate have been met.  The Barracks and "tap the pond" mandates will be met shortly.

Oh and I regret to inform you all that in our haste we have channeled into our underground farming area.  But do not fear my fellow people:  The patch work is underway.

Vyacheslav has claimed a mule as his pet, claiming that he needs it to do the paper work.

The working class: paranoid of an invasion, have set a cage trap near the new bridge over the moat.  When the enemy comes to claim our lives in our sleep they shall be set apon by a hoard of fluffy wamblers.

Only seven dwarves? Bah, you have no heart! If you build a worker's paradise, more will come!

In fact, to encourage the attraction of immigrants, you should triple your current fortress wealth by the time of the next immigration wave. It shouldn't be too hard, considering all you've been doing is fussing around with other's less important demands.

Oh, and you better have a trade depot too. A wagon accessible one! True, trading is hardly a socialist endevor, but you've got to encourage the downtrodden to come to your place somehow, and I am fairly sure exported wealth plays a large role in it. For the greater good, as they say.

And if you ever have an extra dwarf, could you give him my name? And not kill him? :3
