Quote from video's maker.
" Deep Toad xxx- exciting annual toad meeting and orgy in local pond-most viewed toads. "
Sounds like he's trying to make a porno.
And no splendy, it doesn't work.

Anyone know the size of Toady's long sword? Anyone?

catch my drift
Oh, I caught your drift... if you know what I mean. I caught it in ways that are illegal in forty nine different states plus Puerto Rico. *wink-wink nudge-nudge*

Honestly, all I did was type the name of the thesis as found in the earlier link in google, and that PDF was the first or second result.

I know this is the wrong place to be saying this particular phrase, but... Get a life :)

Programmers aren't celebrities even if you like them a lot.

Curiosity about celebrities is more compatible with having a life than curiosity about people who are actually doing interesting things? :)

Some say he uses the visualizer to great effect. Others say he has TEXTURE_PARAM set to NEAREST because he likes how it looks. All I know is, he is Toady One.

In Toadys fortresses, he uses the visualizer to great effect. Toady also has TEXTURE_PARAM set to NEAREST, because he prefers how it looks.

what does he like to eat while playing? also, do you know his favorite color?  ???

Some say that he sees in letters. Others say that he once walled himself in whilst making an extension.
All we know is, He's the Toad.

What does this option do? I can't figure out the difference.

I haven't actually experiment with this and DF, but based on what I know about this setting in general, I would guess that it will have absolutely no effect whatsoever if your window size and grid size are exactly appropriate to match the size of the tileset that you are using.  It is only when each tile graphic has to be drawn in an area that is of a different size than the graphic's native size.  In such cases, NEAREST tends to create very blocky and pixelated effects, but better maintains contrasting edges, while LINEAR tends to look softer and somewhat more blurry than normal.

Has anyone even bothered to PM Toady on the OP topic?

. . .

Actually, given the direction the thread has taken, that's probably a bad idea.

Toady doesn't run from goblins and dragons, as Toady has [NO_FEAR]!
