Oh, well, guess your right, although the 'Speed' with the gods and the 'Speed' with the real-life Roman emporers doesn't exactly correlate. Although we could make up for that by judging athletic ability instead of intelligence.

Okay, now how I see god cards are like this.
You can have one out on a field.(As each emperor usually had one patron god)
They give bonuses, etc etc.

I suppose my rules proposition was accepted then? 
I had this cool win condition: you play 3 emperors at the begining of the game, you loose when you have none in play. You cannot play any emerors normally. you can only put one emperor in play to graveyard and then put another one in his place from your hand.
Thought it would be cool, but I guess I have to come up with something else now.
I researched some pokemon recently. Its a really cool game, Inalucts is very similar. Google it up for more information. For now I can tell you there are basic, stage 1, stage 2 and etc. pokemon that fight one on one. You win when you kill 6 pokemons and get all prize cards.

I'm eager to see more ou your cards. When we reach resonable amount, I'll complete the rules, build up some decks and I'll test it. I'm also interested in GM'ing this on Forum games

Uh... anyway.... Yes, I do think intelligence should be the defining factor in the speed stat, mercury is really the element of speed, and all his folklore revolves around that. So Mercury should stay, but the initial speed stat should be defined by intelligence, since we can't actually find out how fast of a runner they were.

For Caligula, I followed inaluct's spartan theme. Don't mind the shirtlessness, as his suspenders are covering any unsightly dots, the three fingers on each hand, how pointy three of the fingers are, his messed up hair, or the fact he's naked with suspenders.

Just so everybody knows, it would be good for a bunch of people to draw emperors like Caligula and write their own flavor text, so we'll have at least a few good ones.

I'm not sure about those stats, either. What made you choose them, specifically?
