 Hok places the coin in the sock, knowing the deadliness of both objects when thrown will multiply if together. More of a theory, but he had had enough tough escapes made possible through throwing these objects to know how lethal they are. He also tries to stay near the rear of the group. Sure surprise attacks always come from the rear, but he know well enough when an ambush is going to spring.

She sits down on the ground and sulks. After a little while, she wipes her face of some tears. What good would crying do? She's already taking chances right now. She's in a Dwarven trap! What could she possibly lose? There's probably no way out anyway...

But it can't hurt to try. She gets back up and crosses the bridge.

Update 13:

Rash's sort-of-commanding voice pulls everyone along.

Eriw comes to barred door. He can't read any of the words on the door.

Teshil reaches the end of the corridor, and sees another long passage. Just as she goes to walk down it though, she hears a screech from behind. A quick look reveals a batman. The batman appears not to see her.

I kind of need more game posts to update.

I would weigh in on the batman situation, but none of you have ever seen one before. And it's really entirely up to webadict.

Update 14:

Teshil charges towards the batman as quietly as she can, but that little matter of echolocation gives her away. Fortunately the batman's reaction time wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of the swinging sword.

The Swordswoman slashes the batman in the upper right arm!
It is mangled!
The batman claws at the Swordswoman!
He misses.
The Swordswoman counters!
The Swordswoman slashes the batman in the lower left leg!
It flies off in a bloody arc!
The batman is now stunned.

Assuming Eriw continues on his way from the barred door, he can now see the fight at the chasm.

The majority of the party continues on their lovely way down the seemingly empty hallway.

Rash just keeps walking and waving the charter around, trying to keep a few bodies in front of and behind him, just in case.  The group's leader is should be protected after all.
