Guys, my Steam name is Shoelip.  For some reason I can't seem to get a chat window to open with anyone who isn't on my friends list.

I also don't see richochet16 when I search for it woose.

Is it just me or is the coastal battery in Last Stand completely useless? Over the entire course of the level it killed maybe 2 tanks, 10 soldiers and broke a track on one of the mortars before being destroyed by return fire that DID hit more then 10% of the time. Also, how do you get a direct hit with a 305mm cannon and NOT disable it?

It's just three cannons that fire once every 5 minutes or so. Think of it as last resort artillery.

I beat the level with it destroyed, it wasn't particularly vital anyway. The Karl Thors didn't fire frequent enough to be problematic. I think the devs screwed it up with the reload times for most super heavy artillery.

richochet13

Nope.  Still can't find it.

I destroyed one of the karls with the coastal battery then killed the other with an air strike.

I know it fires slowly, there's a big countdown at the top of the screen but i just found it's accuracy and it's impacts lacking. Something designed to sink battleships should do more then break threads on land vehicles, landkreuzer notwithstanding.

Yeah, it sucks. You will ever only see it once though, so don't worry too much about it.

P.s: Those games were terrible. It was impossible to balance the teams to make a fair fight. I'm pretty sure Woose was pretending to be horrible at the game though, since there's no way he could have gotten 100 games in multiplayer with those kinds of practices.

Well, I was pretty bogged down with lag pretty much the entire time. The whole time I was thinking to myself: "Man, since when did they have powerpoint in Men of War?".

But I have to agree with you, I think today was an off day for me.
