Raw Clear Glass can't be cut?

I'm training a gem setter, and decided I might as well graduate them from cutting and encrusting things with green glass, to clear glass.

So, I make a couple dozen pieces of raw clear glass. The problem is, it doesn't show up in the jeweler's workshop menu. I can't even cut it, let alone encrust anything with it. The glass is there in the stockpile next to the jeweler's, it's not forbidden, it's accessible, it's not showing TSK, not hidden... and yet, I can't use it at all.

I'm confused. Either I'm doing something entirely new wrong, or this is a bug. Anyone have any ideas?

Hello!

Funny you should ask. I just created a monstrosity of a nickel chest, putting any kind of decoration I could on it and noticed exactly the same thing. Green glass can be cut just fine and used for encrusting, but clear glass will not show in the jeweler workshop - even though it is correctly put into the proper stockpile with the other raw and cut gems.

You can use the manager screen to order glass to be cut.
