You'll be entering from the south (purple tile) then. Becuase I'm nice, you can enter in for this turn. Would you like to leave your name as Vlynndar, or would you like something else?

Turn tonight, maybe. Then I'll try to keep up a turn a day.

Jesus? No, too predictable and blasphemous. Bob? Too... wrong...
Wait, I know. Bonk. No, I haven't been influenced by a future update to a popular shooter game at all '-'
Bonk it is.

For that viciously bad pun, I'm gonna introduce a NPC named Vlynndar just so that I can kill him of in a cruel and unusual way.
Watermelons are pretty important.

I'll be doing the turn in about an hour, but to tide everyone over, I'm making the combat rolls clearer.

Strife attacks the Zombie from the front!
Strife has a spear, Zombie has a sword.
Spear (1-9)
Sword (3-6)

Attacking rolls are compared:
Strife rolls a 9 (ow.)
Zombie rolls a 6
Zombie would get a minus one for being defensive, but the sword negates this..
9 >6

Blocking rolls would now be added, the zombie would need to make up 3 points of blocking, it doesn't so the attack goes through.

We move to the targeting roll (d8)
It comes up with a 3, so Strife hits the zombie's legs.

We now have a damage roll (d6)
3) Moderate damage. The zombie's leg is gashed open.

So combat flow works like this:
Weapon roll vs weapon roll
If attacker wins, defender tries to make up difference with blocking values.
If the defender can't, we have a target roll.
Then a damage roll.

Oh yeah, I never got around to that.

There is a d7 roll for bow attacks. It gets -1 for every two spaces the target is away. Any block values get subtracted from the score as well. It the result is more than 3, we move to target and and damage rolls. I think that this'll work alright.

Turn 4: Round 1 (Sparklequest search)

Carl the zombie:
Carl shambles west a bit. (Secret roll) He gets there fine. The zombie then decides to sing for a bit. (2) The song is really bad, and Carl is disoriented (-1 to all rolls next turn.). Carl notices an elf, drawing a bead on him with a bow, but the arrow doesn’t come.
Carl the zombie (♪)
Minor moves per turn : 3
Attack : 1-5
Block: None
Damage -1
Other: undead.
Inventory: Two handed sword; torn leather armor

Team Merc:

The nameless elf moves into position and draws his bow. It’s a long shot (rounded to 10 spaces away, -5 to the roll) (4-5 = -1). The arrow goes wide. His Orc friend crashes into him from behind (Org tried to move to the same spot, got moved a space back). Once that was dealt with, Inaluct shoved past both of them.

Org (@). Orc with axe and leather armor.
Weight : 1.5 (second level)
Minor movers per turn: 4.
Attack: 2-7
Block: None
Damage -1

Inaluct (g): Elf with a whip.
Weight: .5 (first level)
Minor moves per turn 6 (two must be used for moving)

Block: None
Damage: None

(&) Elf with bow and leather armor.
Weight 1 (second level)
Minor moves per turn: 6 (two must be used for moving)
Attack:3
Block: None
Damage: -1

NPC Action: Rat-
The rat moves a few spaces towards Gawier.

Gawier moves closer to the door. He looks around there’s a steel buckler on the armor stand, and a stream of people coming from the north. Someone bursts in from the south as well. Not to mention the rat. Lot’s of stuff to worry about.
(♪) Gawier the fighter armed with a sword and shield (human).
Weight: 1.5 (second class)
Minor moves per turn: 4
Attack: 3-6
Block: 2
Damage: No change

Bonk:

Bonk the Human enters the treasure room, hefting his hammer. He noticed the lack of supports. Some timber would have fixed that up. There seems to be someone else a bit up north, and some body parts to the northwest.

Bonk the Human Carpenter (U)
Hammer
Weight: 1 (Second class)
Minor Moves per turn: 4
Attack:
Block: None

Of... floors? Ulrich McUrist has engraved a wonderful rendition of a floor on the floor.
