They're not going to be "removed," per se, just become more interesting and have more varying features.

Typical abilities of those afflicted with necrosis include turning black and smelling badly.

Jokes aside I assume the OP meant a disease that turns you into a living dead. I was never very partial to the living dead. Not having a cardiovascular system, not being able to regenerate etc. don't seem like very... attractive properties to me.
