Well, I never get friends like that, they obey me or I obey my master. This is how it works for me  ;D
This happens to me only on the internet so I have no idea how its like to meet a person like that, especially when you live in a place where holocaust happened. Anybody else from the forum lives in Poland? I didn't think so  ::)

A man is his own master. Free yourself.

Denying that the holocaust happened isn't evil. It's gratingly irritating, but it isn't evil. It's misguided.

No, denying the holocaust is unforgivable, the only circumstance it should be tolerated is if the person just found out about it and can't believe it (Postwar german civilians and some military for instance) or if they simply never heard of it.

Otherwise the "person" stops being a "person", and should be dealt with accordingly.

Honestly, I've just talked to a friend that I've known for a long time, and he started explaining to me for no reason whatsover on how the entire holocaust was some sort of conspiracy, and that the actual death toll was something around 600, as stated by some dubious official record.

I do not get how people can be incredibly ignorant about this event, and still find some way to support their claims despite the overwhelming evidence otherwise. This is making me lose my faith in humanity.

Make me.

You also believe that a Sumerian water god is satan and he talks to you personally, if I recall correctly.

You are hurting your street cred.

What street cred?
I have a neutral opinion in this matter, I have seen evidence it did happen, and evidence it didn't.

There's evidence it didn't happen?  How exactly does that work?  Because I'm imagining going to a place in, say, Canada and saying:
"Here we can see a patch of land where five to seven million people weren't murdered for their faith."
or "uncovering" documents saying they were all killed for wearing yellow socks or something.
