Map Compressor - minor bug/annoyance
« on: February 13, 2009, 10:13:31 pm »

The Map Compressor doesn't correctly recognise tiles when i use my square font. Is this a known issue? Should i post a map that shows the bug?

EDIT: If this is the wrong place to mention it, could someone direct me to the correct place?

Did this get resolved?

It's usually better to PM me or email me, I don't notice random threads since I don't visit the forums often; but PMs result in an email to me.

Usually the problem is that you have the wrong window size for DF, so DF is squishing the tiles when it writes out the map images, which results in the map compressor being unable to match them with the images in the font bitmap. You can tell if you open a map image in a paint program, find a tile that you can measure the size of, and do so, to see if it's the right number of pixels.
