I'm not really sure how to cast my vote yet. If Rooster is indeed an Ambusher, we really need him not to die, since he might be our last one, or one of our last ones.

His quote is not directly stated as being from webadict; this leads me to believe it MAY be a fabricated act of elfiness; this is my primary suspicion of him. In addition, getting dwarf guards on an elf (LASD) would be a skillful elven ploy.

Nice job spotting that quote.  While it wouldn't be too hard to add in the tags to make it appear as if the quote were from webadict, the lack of any metadata at all is very suspicious.

An elf faking it would have a reason to add it on - but what reason would a legit ambusher have to take it out?

I suppose he could just have Copy+Pasted the message and put quotes around it, and not bothered with the quote feature.  It would be consistent with his defense so far (he's a dwarf, but not a very good mafia player, and he's already said some stupid things).

However, his immediate response to suspicion being to accuse me in orange does not decrease my suspicion of him. I can't check him this game, sadly - otherwise, I would have kept quiet and scanned him tonight - but the last time someone reacted that violently to my insinuation, I believe, was Org, when he was an elf.

Hmmm...but LASD didn't dispute that he checked me last night. Which means they're almost certainly either both dwarves, or both elves. So if we can confirm one, we've probably confirmed both.

I didn't say you are. I said Rooster acted like you did when you WERE.
Also, I'll believe you were checked when the child tells me you were.

That's my point. If LASD was a dwarf, and didn't check me, he'd have said something in his defense and point out that Rooster was a lying Elf. Since he didn't, they're either telling the truth, or are both lying elven scum trying to trick us.

Seems a risky gambit, so I'm inclined to believe them until we get more proof.

There is the possibility that Rooster is an elf and LASD isn't, but that would be a very bad play; both elves or both dwarves is much more likely. However, I think they should both be checked. I suggest (assuming we don't lynch one) that the child check Rooster and the Sheriff check LASD.

I don't disagree with your suggestion, but is there a way for the Elves to know who LASD checked? Or any Elven roles that have a night effect other than kill? If not, then I don't see how Rooster could have said LASD checked me if he hadn't. (Discounting a really, really lucky guess).

Well, there is a Traitor that switches on the death of the first Elf. Also, there is no rule against Elves having other roles. However, the Druid may not have other roles. Other players may have multiple roles of CERTAIN roles.

Basically, only Friendly, Grudged, Lovers, and... I forget if there are any other roles that can be applied to other members. Elves can also be.

So, you could have a Friendly Elf Hunter or a Grudged Lover Sheriff or some other combination.

Major roles can NOT be applied to Elves though. So the Sheriff, Surgeon, or Child cannot be.

So...yeah, I agree with Pandarsenic. Both should be checked, since nothing stops the Elves from being part of this.

Woah there, people. I got sick. That's why I haven't been too active.

I'll tell you my role (it's not one with a night action) if I must, but I'd prefer not to, for fear of elves. I'd prefer it if the sheriff or child would check me instead.
