If the Elf Druid converts the first person who voted against him, then we know who's on the elves' side next time.

So one of two things needs to happen.
A. The elf druid shows up as a normal elf when lynched.
B. The elf druid converts a random person who voted for him when he's hung.

After the first few weeks after the Elves had come, all seemed well. The farms were being replanted, workshops rebuilt, and artifacts created. This tranquility would last for some time.

Suddenly, a dark cloud loomed over the horizon and with it a dark omen. The Elves had come once more, and with them they brought death.

Again, the fortress was besought by tantrums and deaths, until a small group of Dwarves were left and among them the Elf impersonators.

This is Day 1. Discuss and try to find the Elves.

I'm an elf. My dwarven nature does not permit that statement.
(Hilariously enough, that statement works just as well for confirming dwarfiness, but I'd feel dirty posting it without crossing it out.)

I am a dwarf as my user name obviously states. May be a little fey at times, but I'm still a dwarf.
