But to be perfectly honest, I'd have to agree with his general point.  I wouldn't bet on a maintained friendship afterwards, but it's going to hurt you a lot more not to do anything about it than it will to go for it.

As someone who recently went for it with full expectation of tears to follow, I agree.

I have experience with not doing it. You'll regret it. Truly, you will.

We, the internet, do solemnly request you ask out this girl!

Also, to milk-allergy man:  DUDE!  Buy some friggin' dark chocolate.  It's not that hard to come by, and I actually think it tastes better than milk chocolate.  Also, if you're in the states, look around for "Silk" brand soy-based ice cream.  The stuff is absolutely incredible.  Again, I prefer it to the milk-based ones.

Kag, the point is that having spent 2+ decades without chocolate she doesn't even care about it. She's not pining for the stuff and isn't looking for a substitute.

I love the facs (family and consumer science/ home ec). department in our school. They have a open house all day. With infinite sugar cookies. And frosting. And massages.

I had seventeen sugar cookies today. The buzz hasn't started to fade yet . . .

Lucky... whenever I walked into my Highschool's home ec class, they'd say something along the lines of "Get the hell out! You can't have any of our stash!"

I do remember one time though, where I convinced my teacher to throw an in class barbecue, supplied by the teacher's food-wealthy brother who worked for a meat company.

Good times.

I snuck off to eat cookies on a few different occasions.

At one point, I had a (read three) cookies during english (I took the test yesterday), then went off to work on a composistion (which went really well!), I ran back for another cookie, then had lunch. After lunch, I had another cookie and went to wait for the bus to JROTC. I missed the bus, and had to drive. I grabbed another cookie for the road . . .

I got back from ROTC, had a cookie, went and read the paper, had another cookie. Then I went to spanish. Were we went to eat cookies . . .

To reiterate, I LOVE valentine's day!

Hahaha! My school has won this year's battle!

THERE IS NO SINGLE MENTION OF VALENTINE AT ALL IN MY SCHOOL. Which is very great. Damn. Very.

In fact, I forgot this day is valentine until I see this topic, again. :|

Well, I'm failing colossally at getting to the point where I'm ready to even breach the cave river, much less set up the tower-cap farm, but I did create a nice gatehouse/airlock/drowning chamber intake.  It's got seven-story crossbow towers at all four corners, floodgate doors manually controlled from inside the fortress, and a solid wall five stories tall.  I'll post a picture tonight when I get done with it.

I also cooked a kickass pork roast while my dwarves were building.  So I guess you could say I had a productive Valentine's Day, even though I didn't succeed at the tower-cap farm OR stimulating the economy by buying a bunch of overpriced chocolate-like products.

 I read that entirely differently.

"Huh huh.  He said, 'breach the cave river.'  Huh huh."

"Heh heh.  Yeah, yeah!  Breach the cave river!  Heh heh."

It's got seven-story crossbow towers
Oh dear...
We must take all of this out of context. Or in context. I'm not quite sure.

Yay, I got chocolate. From a girl! Granted, it's just mutual - S.A.D. appreciation chocolate, but hey. Food.

Spent Valentines rocking out on Guitar Hero World Tour with 4 other people.

I had a date! I went to a festival with a friend, where which, we met two of his friends. Turns out, we pretty much ended up on a double date. On Valentines day.

We got sugar high, almost got sick several times on many different spinning rides, and then proceded to say good bye.

Today was a good day.

Wasn't able to ask her today, too much crap went on that I couldn't. It's one of those days that makes me think that the entire universe conspires against me. I'll try again tommorow.
