[40d] playing as goblins, they won't cut more than a few trees
« on: February 10, 2009, 08:00:54 pm »

Ok, so I added goblins as a playable civilization. But whenever I start out they'll go chop down a few trees I've designated, then just drop the axes. I've tried everything I can think of, and checked everything. The axes aren't forbidden, the goblins still have woodcutting assigned.

I really have no idea what the problem is, they'll still move the axes to weapon stockpiles, but will not equip them.

What kind of axes are they? If they need two hands the woodcutters need to be set to using two weapons to hold them.

Egads, this is actually one thing that hadn't occured to me. I'll have to go check this.

Edit: That wasn't the problem, the axes they're using are one handed. However, this problem hasn't occured at all lately. Still not sure what happened, but it seems to have gone away.
