...I actually like playing a dwarf in World of Warcraft.

But who knows how much longer I'll be playing that game? Now that I have the hang of Dwarf Fortress-- I just started playing it a few weeks ago-- it's eating up all my time instead of WoW. I can't be as creative in a breathtaking 3D environment where you systematically just kill everything over and over.

Haha, yeah.  Today my pally was in Ironforge and I thought 'I wonder how long before there's a tantrum?' and when I saw the goblins in Gadgetzan I thought 'Oh shit, siege!  Oh, wait...'

The reason Legolas beat Gimli in a drinking contest in LotR is because LotR Elves are like, physically invulnerable They're just plain superior to every other living creature on the planet.

This is offset by the fact that they are also complete assholes and excellent smiths, so it's all good.

For a class we had to read "Black Cat" by Edger Poe.  Today during the class discussion everyone was talking about how horrible the scene was where the main character carved out his cat's eye with a pen knife.  I sat there and listened... I killed about 10 cats this morning before class...

I also own two cats, my brother and I got them for our birthdays. Despite their real names, I've taken a liking to calling them Bolts and Biscuits.
