...I learned to brew beer, recently. I didn't do it for DF (my wife got me a beer brewing kit for x-mas. I married well.), but it's pretty damn "dwarfy".

So not really a "Because of Dwarf Fortress", but it's given me a bit of insight that I'll apply *to* DF.

My brother's a Somethingawful goon.  It can get very . . . intense there.  Not as nice a forum as this one, according to him.  They did bring us Boatmurdered, though.

On topic, I added "Boatmurdered" to my Firefox dictionary.

There are a lot of nice forums out there and a lot of terrifying ones.

I'm a bit of a /b/tard, which is usually considered worse then a goon.  But I keep my /b/ and my bay12 / all other forums separate from each other and thank god.
