...I now hate the Wood Elves in the Elder Scrolls games even more. Also, if i ever get a gecko i'm planning on making a mock forgotten beast dialog and taping it to it's terrarium.

I made this.

This is a sign.

A sign I am not playing enough DF.

Because I forgot the beard.

seeing as how he got no arms I think it's more appropriate to call them wound dressers rather then cloaks.

Because of Dwarf Fortress, I now understand that the best use of a cat is, in order: Ammunition (live), food, clothing, more ammunition (bone).
Because of Dwarf Fortress, I have walked at least one person through tasks that I take for granted which, on consideration, are actually somewhat obscure and complex.
Because of Dwarf Fortress, the 'learning curve' of most other games seem to be a collection of gentle slopes at the base of the harsh, unforgiving volcanic cliffs of DF.
Because of Dwarf Fortress, I have told a friend who plays (and mods) to 'unleash the cats of war'.
Because of Dwarf Fortress, I have discovered how to create turtles from empty smelters.
Because of Dwarf Fortress, I have learned the magma absolves all crimes.

Because of Dwarf Fortress, I flooded my basement because my diagonal pipes didn't neutralize pressure.

I simplify all my meals to four ingredients whenever possible.

This is a well-made -ramen noodle soup-. The ingredients are ramen noodles, thin-sliced ham, coarsely-chopped vegetables, and coarsely-chopped cilantro.

This struck me as extremely true. If you can get the hang of DF, you can do anything. Even SCIENCE!!!
... Also, because of DF, I often stare at my cat and wonder what *cat meat roast* would taste like.

You just have to check with a different culture to find out... Same with any *animal meat roast*, really. Somewhere, _someone_ eats it.
