What's weird is I recently had a dream where I freaked out and ran from a lone ampersand in the midst of a wide open plain...

That's funny. I had a dream recently where I was an ampersand chasing someone across a desert.

Did our dreams cross wires? To be fair I was more concerned about the ampersand rather than what the terrain was.  :P

The other day I was out for a walk and saw a snapping turtle crossing the path.

My immediate thought, of course, was "oh good, this site has turtles.  We'll have shells for strange moods now".

I realised that bad managers can lower happiness; FEMA has bad managers, and that the military hires the people with the best persuader skills to have them come to school.

I realised the reason I become depressed in school is because the USA doesn't hire legendary architects to build things.

... I realized that cutting down trees gives me wood.

Get it?

Get it?

C'mon, I chuckled.

I think I would remember if I had amnesia.
I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

That's even worse! I'd rather be chucked at, than with...

I once seized a co-worker's office, hauled a lot of stones and lumber into it, then drew pictures of folded cloth and shells.

A teacher was quizzing me on various things and said "Ok, here's one I know you don't know.  Where do we get aluminum?"  When he asked how I knew the answer was Bauxite, I lied and said it was from a Geology class and not "the forums for Dwarf Fortress."

I sometimes have to remind myself that the reason we build up in the real world is because we can make a chunk of stone cover an area of floor larger than the stone.  So it's not actually easier to just dig down and smooth everything.

I wonder if maybe people are underusing magma just because it's "dangerous."

Oh yeah, and I realized KS is a terrible embark site.  Sure, it's got a ton of limestone and trees, but the whole state sits on top of an aquifer.
