What my friends really find amusing about the game so far is the potential for incredibly horrific deaths. If could figure out how, i'd upload the critical tables for a few laughs.

List a few possibilities. Could you session a game on here?

How about having your stomach blown out, and roll to die every turn. If someone else enters the square you are on, they trip on your organs and rip them out, Killing you instantly. (not half as detailed as what i wrote int the rulebook but you get the point).

I could session a game when I finish most of it.

This sounds cool, and I have not played PnP games before. But, are there giant green aliens with big axes and pistols the size of your face, yelling WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

NO. There's much worse

I will find it hilarious when one such baddie grabs your character, lifts him into the air, slams him down, and then tears your legs off :P

Is it some sort of sci fi PvP thing taking place in a giant abandoned medical facility? With guys running around with fireaxes and bullwhips and stupid shit like those sword-canes that (presumably) rednecks have?

You're a fan of Ruby Quest. Aren't you?

Actually, no. I know what you're talking about, though. I heard about Battle Royal a while ago, and I want to watch it really badly. Hence, killing each other with miscellaneous weapons.

Holy shit, was that assonance in my post? Huh.

How far along is it?

All the Mechanics are finished.

Currently I'm working on weapons, armor and items. Then Enemies, The being the Game master, the plot.

I'm not exactly sure when I'll be done. But once i get a few school projects done, i can work on this full force.

A bit off side, but once i'm done with this game I'll be writing up a new Mideival fantasy PnP (Because I hate 4th Edition D&D)

Will there be miniguns? :V

What about a suit made of metal? Like, a business suit, but made of metal?

There are 2 kinds of Miniguns:
The first is a military issue man-portable one used for assaults. Like a Mingun rifle
The second is used by the Earth Special Forces and uses energy projectiles (good luck getting this one)

As for the Buisness suit... Not exactly. There is an armored civii suit, but its not overly strong.

Only the plus side, almost every weapon and armor suit is highly customizable. So load whatever gadgets you want into them.

Also, characters can have:
1) cybernetic enhancements
2) Gene therapy/manipulation
3) organic Implants
4) Nanotech augmentations

Have fun customising everything :P

Name a random weapon after me! It doesn't need to be good, either. I shall use it relentlessly!

Example:
"The Webad" - An upgraded version of a bayonet. Basically a laser/plasma/regular gun with a bladed tip, shaped similarly like a shovel.

Yes, that'll do nicely. It should work for ranged or melee combat. Muahaha!

Lets see... How about the..
Alttakosk Plasma Cannon (Heavy)
Background: Designed as a plasma based substitute for the more conventional flamethrowers, the Alttakosk fills this role well but functions in a different manner. Instead of firing a stream of fire (or in this case plasma) it fires a single, ultra dense ball of plasma which explodes on contact, washing over cover and burning everything in its radius.
Damage Value: 2D6 (Energy and Heat)
Armor Penetration: 3
Capacity: 800
Rate of Fire: 1/0/0
Reload Time: 10 Full rounds
Range: 20 Squares
Ammunition: Micro Plasma Generator
Special Rules: Because Plasma weapons deal both Energy and Heat damage, a critical hit means that the player gets to roll once on the Energy critical hit table, and once on the Heat critical hit table, applying both results to the target. This weapon ignores cover. Upon striking a target, the projectile bursts into a 4x4 square, hitting everything in the blast zone.
Cost: 4500 Credits
Weight: 25 Kg

The stats won't mean much to you, but it helps get a feel for it

Sir, you have posted a game design thread on the Internet, and opened it up to commentary.

You will be defoliated by suggestions.  Grandiose, egotistical suggestions.
