A-hem.
Shouldn't the title be "non-lose end condition"?

No, because you would be totally giving up on that fort, and it would go into abstracted stasis.  It would continue to exist.  But you would definitely lose that game.  You could just visit it later.  Without trying to reclaim it.  And you could visit it in adventure mode.

What the title looks like is if demons take over your fort and tentacle demonsCENSORED, but you can still play it.

What "non-lose end condition" means is ending without losing. Non-end lose condition is losing without ending.

Tentecle demons are not some sexual joke, people.  They have CLAWS on their tentacles, for pity's sake.  Just look at the raws.

Honestly, do squids look like that to you?  Do they look like an image of some demonic porno?  No, they don't.

You guys are just sick. >:(

Anyway, I fully support this. I want to recruit my warriors as an adventurer as easy as possible, since by the current mechanic, they either said: "Wait till I get to my home!" or something in that line...

Yes. Yes they do.

CHANGE OF TOPIC.  That is a good idea.  Be able to end a fortress, and place a dwarf up for "adoption".  I.E. being possessed by tentacle porn obsessed psychos in adventure mode.

It would also be nice if you could spar with soldiers.  It would probably be the same as fighting them at first, just with you asking them first and not getting killed for it, but it could be expanded upon later as fortress mode sparring is improved.

I suppose one non-lose ending could be the accumulation of achievement points. You pick a difficulty setting (or customize one) and then you have to build a settlement that meets certain requirements and during the game fulfill all the achievements needed to meet the achievement requirement.

The entire thing will be optional, for instance some of the options could:

- Change ambush/siege frequency.
- Certain occupations could be blocked.
- Traps limited/forbidden.
- The economy starts after a preset amount of time regardless of population/wealth.
- Nobles come sooner or have more mandates.
- Override population cap.
- Less/more immigrants.
- Plump Helmet plague, no Plump Helmet spawn.

Of course classic mode would be unchanged.
