my first dwarf dream!
« on: February 07, 2009, 02:54:38 pm »

i had my first dwarf fortress related dream last night.
in it i was watching some guy play dwarf fortress with this BEAUTIFUL tile set.
i asked him what it was. i forget what he called it but the thing that made it so special was that it had animations! i watched a dwarf in a running animation run up to a bird in flapping animation and kill it with an axe strikeing animation.
it was awesome.

LOL I dreamed that I was playing DF one night. I had built a truly magnificent (in my dream of course, real life I'm too genocidal towards my dwarves) Mega Man mosaic. I have no idea why. I'm planning on one, as soon as I find a site with magma and microline, and a few other things I want.

Say, are you feeling fey, by any chance? Sounds like you're inspired by the gods dwarven spirits from long ago.

I can understand the second but not the first.  Spanish and French are remarkably similar.  But I'm more closely related to the French, so French it is for me (okay, I've been taking French).

I had to take the same level of Spanish for ten years in my elementary school.  Classes were once a week (replacing what was normally religion class, as it was a Catholic school).  I was so tired of it by the time I got out.

The worst part is that I couldn't ever understand a word of it.
