Woah, i forgot about the adamantine king. Does anyone know if you get sieges with him?

I didn't until my pop hit 80. That didn't take long, though, once the king arrived. Maybe a year?

Heh, I just noticed this myself. Anyone know what these "100 population" features are? Certainly you can get sieges and a king with 80, so what else is there? Megabeasts? I feel fairly confident that I've had megabeasts come before hitting 100, but I'm not certain.

Economy kicks in at 100, I think.

If you really want to get to know every last one of your dwarves personally, and hate it when one of them dies, make a generational fort in a world with no dwarven civs.
