 Both of which must employ some form of shielding to be effective at all. And one is working on plain magic. You know who she is.

 From what I can see, the X-Com suits use good 'ol metal, ceramics and other hard, non-energy-shields things.

Power suits in X-Com use Elerium-115 as a power source (hence power suit) and are made of alien alloys, as far as I know.

Considering I used to think Samos was a man (boy, did that come as a shock) and I don't really consider the master chief sexy, that could be considered evidince that they can't.

Although Samos is fine without the suit.

Those aren't Power Suits. Samus uses Chozo Armor or whatever (I don't remember, I haven't played in ages. <_<) and Master Chief first, is not sexy, and second, is in Mjolnir Mk Whatever Armor, not a Power Suit.

The Alien Alloys are the armor, the Elerium is so you can actually move in it.

Well, Men of the Match awards to Cerej, for continuing his reign of awesome across realities, and Ragnar, for one-shoting a cyberdisk on the first try.  And holy balls what an awful, awesome way to land on a terror mission.

And make sure you know who actually has the muscles to use those heavy weapons mate.

Bug-Exploit Protip for getting to Terror Missions: so long as at least one craft is targeted to a mission site, it will persist forever.  If you juggle Interceptors and the Skyranger, a terror site will wait days for you to get around to it.
