Recruit me, oh god recruit me.  As time honored as the rookie+grenade tactic is, I have to request that you give me an HE loaded autocannon as a fire-support dude.  Vitally useful in all circumstances until you start fighting snakemen a lot.

i would take Tom King, the brother of Virgil King, anyway the King familie is known about their tactical skills, they are one of the best shuters around, They alway bring with them the best awaylabel rifle, with two repleace ammo, and an explosive (or alien grenade later.) for retreating purpuse. They don't tend to rush on the aliens (MU's for reacting should always rest at the end of moving ... if you shut just do it all ...)
Normaly the whole familie is in military dutie, and there should be at least one all the time around.(if not please rename one soliders family name with King)
Is sciantific leaders ask their opignon they prefer researches in this order:
armors
rifles
alien discections (becouse they shell be better known)
