Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

The Machine-Spirit appears to be angry.

(Yes, I really do plan on Warhammer 40K lingo this entire thread. At least until my character dies. And BTW, theres only one way Space Marines die. Gloriously, and with every last breath.)

(I miss the good old days when space marines spoke in old English)

Auril's Mental list of observations...

Still have yet to become acquainted with all workers on this project and already there are those who are suspicious of me. Must find a way to them feel comfortable, Von Braun has something to hide and that armor guy is creeping me out. Perhaps the AI can enlighten me with valuable information.

Hmm.........

Log 6

2nd Limestone: Auril

Hal 1500 made a turtleshell mask. Harmless enough, but not worth much either.

13th Limestone: Morion

I was looking in the lavapit, when I noticed that there was a wooden cage… with a fireman in it. I quickly brought it to Von Braun, who subsiquently laughed and told me he might have a use for it. Hmm.

18th Limestone: Von Braun

A Dwarven Caravan arrived. Now I have 2 liaisons following me.

23th Limestone:

Well, that was a great trade, for much metal and steel weaponry. And I’m going to talk to Jag… what was that sound?…

… Snap! Miscalculation!

27th Von Braun

I rechecked my calculations, and it turns out I had the bridge on the wrong side of the pit, making it a death trap. Unfortunately, this cost Jagex’s life. Now, the only originals are Yupdies, Lord Castellion, and an unconscience Crispin. Needless to say, he was a great man. I will miss him. To ease my depression, I have taken up chess.

3rd Timber: Auril

Migrants arrived today, and as the record keeper, I have to keep track of them. We got 1 engineer, a clother, 2 peasants, a tanner, a jeweler, an armorer, and a pump operator, for 8 dwarves total. Also, Lord Castellion became the official captain of the guard.

21st timber: Legolord

The magma is rising to an adequate level to fuel our magma forges. Soon, we will be capable of smelting vast amounts of metal in a short time. This will be great for whatever project Von Braun has in mind. Also, our miners are finding lots of copper and hematite around our forges.

18th Moonstone: Von Braun

One of the lesser-known armourers was elected mayor. I’m a little confused as to why this is, but It doesn’t really matter that much.

9th Opal

One of our children went fey, and has claimed a craftsdwarf’s workshop. I’m curious as to what he is going to make.

10th Opal: Auril

The mayor has demanded some lead items made. Von Braun tried to tell him there wasn’t any lead, but to no avail. I’ve sent my report to the Baron as well. I’ve taken up chess in an attempt to learn something from Hal 1500. Also, the kid made an earing. How cute.

17th Opal: Froddo

I was told to set up some chains in a room next to the magma for a justice system. When I inquired, they said that the mayor made a mandate for lead. Hmmf.

16th Obsidian: Legolord

We found a few lead cages, and we intend to melt them to make an object to appease the mayor.

24th Obsidian: The lead barrel that was made for him has appeased him. We plan on storing the mayor’s beer in it. Also, the glass forges have begun their operation, so much glass items can be expected shortly. Von Braun seemed interested in windows, though he did say that he was looking for clear windows, as opposed to green ones. Oh well.

26th Obsidian: The Mayor liked his lead-poisoned beer so much, he mandated the making of 3 more lead items, likely one barrel for each type of drink. I say we stuff him in the barrel and throw him into the pit. Or something.

--------

I've begun on the space ship, my only limit is the rate of iron forging.

I request you construct several Las Batteries for heavy orbital bombardment. And we require Void Shields aswell.

We must also train up a company of Guard Squats. And arm them with Las Guns and stubbers. Who knows. Those native Greenskins on this planet might follow you squats in example and try and journey into space after us.

In the meantime, as Captain of The Guard, I mandate that you construct that Vox Unit!

Log #4 838 M41:

It has been stated I am Captain of this races fortress Guard. Whatever that really means. Just so long as I may still rip apart this planets filth just as well. I might as well take advantage of my station these foolish Sub-Humans have placed upon me and demand that they finally get to work on my request, a Vox Unit. And for that matter, a transmuter so they may set up a ComNetwork. Long range transmission will be easy enough if theres Imperial ships nearby. It should only take a Decade or so for them to obtain the message and get me. And years are like days to me. I age for not, and I still have some filth to kill on this planet. But when my Battle Brothers come and get me from this Xeno covered planet, we shall cleanse it of all but the Sub-Humans. Naturally, many of the Squats will still die, but so it is. They will be more of use on different planets anyway. They do not have need of this one dirtball.

By the Emperor, it shall be done. Dorn watches over my work. For all is going as the Emperor wills.

All according to His will.

We could have magma chambers on the edges of the rocket that can be dumped by lowering the bridges that hold them it. we could call it "Orbital face melting."

edit: or better yet, toss in 100 cats and make a thermo-nuclear catsplosion!

You are aware that "thermonuclear catsplosion" refers to exploding cats, yes?  Not the old kind of catsplosion.

I we pulled it off right, we'd have an infinite fuel supply.
