Those little -'s on the map.
« on: January 28, 2009, 09:38:11 pm »

I was looking for some migrants to recruit in my world one.

I FOUND MY FIRST EMBARK PARTY!
And it wasn't a play now! adventure or anything, I just stumbled upon them!
I can't believe the game kept track of them cutting down trees all over the years of adventurer's here.

Anyone ever found something like this?

Yeah. One time, but I couldn't figure out what happened. I spawned an adventurer from the same civ as an embark party that attacked me on sight.

I guess because they abandoned, they defaulted from the kingdom?

whats even funner is abandoning as soon as you arrive and reclaiming, then abandoning again. if you don't deactivate them from the military, they will run around the world as whatever skill you assigned them. in adventure mode, tell them to join you and they will! mainly because their choices are "go back to the mountainhomes, where everyone will have shame on you and die a poor and unhappy dwarf" or "have loads of fun running around a retreat pillaging the elves, knowing very well this place will become their grave".

I got a goblin peasant to join me once.

I didn't kill him because he fist fights wolves.

Obviously a dwarf reborn.
