And, we seriously need proper scaffolding, construction casualties ( falling, getting trapped, blah ) are too high!.

If we get floors that can't hold people up, I want to be able to camouflage them, so goblins step on them.

Yes, I can build weapon traps in the open field, but I'm starting to feel the need for more traditional murder devices.

Now if you make it out of giant cave spider silk, maybe it's strong enough to support one dwarf but not two.
Hm. I think I would rule that GCS silk would be strong enough to hold precisely one GCS plus one screaming dwarf in full platemail. After all, thats what GCS silk if for.

A woven sheet of fabric is made up out of a whole lot more threads than a spider's web though. More threads means greater strength.
