Before you ask:
Yes, I like the song.
No, I don't know what they're saying.

The most outrageous (but catchy) opening "song" for an anime

Prolonged exposure might melt your brain.

And believe it or not, the anime (called Moon Phase) is actually okay... I've seen the first few episodes.

I'm sorry but I think this anime opening will melt your brain more.

Sorry, this has you both beat.

Hey Frelock, I tried that "Pandora" thing you mentioned, and I gotta say, I'm astonished.

You mentioned it needing to tune to my liking... no tuning is necessary. I touched it, and automatically, as though a psychic is commanding it's actions, it KNOWS me. It can see into my heart of hearts and tell what I want to fucking listen to. Right from the get'go.

It can do no wrong, it is like jukebox jesus. Playing awesome tune after awesome tune with no end in sight. Whenever I think it's betrayed me, it's only showing me a form of love i've never understood before.

But now I understand, and it's euphoric.

Thanks a bunch Frelock.

One winged Angel.

I really don't consider that to be a song... since the lyrics are really just there to sound cool rather then be understood.

Please... no Nirvanna jokes... I don't like that band... but they are just a bit too easy to pick on.

Please show. Apart from that video, none of it was particularly horrifying and/or brain-melting.

I need something to drive myself insane.

Catchy and damn good:
Porcupine Tree - Stranger by the Minute
Pineapple Thief - Shoot First
Dredg - Hung Over on a Tuesday
Shpongle - Dorset Perception

This man knows his music. 100% unadulterated awesome. Especially Dorset Perceptions. Saw Simon Posford do it as part of his set on new years day this year, bloody amazing.

As for a catchy song, Peter, Bjorn & John's Young Folks drove me insane when I heard it on the radio at work, then had it stuck in my head for the next 3 months.

I really don't know if he was looking for annoying, get stuck in your head songs, I thought he was looking for catchy songs, which may get stuck in your head, but aren't annoying, and you are glad to have them stuck in your head.
