[40d]Cat bug with lava?

For some reason, 2 cats are standi--well.. more like floating/swimming in magma/lava. What i did was decide to push all animals in a volcano to prevent a animalsplosion, and it seems 2 cats are somehow surviving while trenched in 7/7 lava! That is real strange. I'm already certain they're straight in magma, it says 7/7 when i look at the square they're in.

Edit: Just to clarify, they're kittens.

No, i kept everything as it is. Those are the only 2 animals that survived the lava, but the others died in the heat.

Edit: Just an update. Looks like reloading the game caused them to die.

Sounds like we have a problem. If cats can survive lava... OH SHIT! WE MUST DEFEND OUR FPS FROM THE LAVA PROOF CATS!

I've actually heard other people describe this phenomenon several times before. I don't think it's been established exactly what causes it, though.

I think that when animals land on top of each other, they become temporarily immortal - I've heard that if you just save your game and reload they should die instantly. Well, close enough.
