I don't quite understand the purpose of the "only allowed to use certain colors" requirement besides making everything ugly.

it really makes as much sense as no e round  . But a bigger problem is that there aren't that many rules you can impose on a picture

Tell you what, I'm pretty predisposed to Democracy, if a large enough rabble of people agree that an odd picture limitation would be a cool thing to do, I'll organize it all fair-and-square.

I'd say just add a general rule on pictures no more than 1000px wide or tall. Apart from viewing issues in Opera, they aren't helping people without free internet traffic - like me.

For the JPEG quality thing - just tried it, and yeah, about as awful as I thought it'd be. Therefore, completely acceptable for inclusion in this game.

For the straight lines - yes, meaning you cannot draw any straight lines. "Somewhat straight" also qualify as straight, any line you make must have a noticable angle and curve. So that ground cannot be flat, arms cannot be stretched, and swords cannot be well-forged. Et cetera, et cetera. I don't know how much of a limitation that is, but the opposite - ONLY straight lines - seemed kinda strange to me. Though in retrospect, quite plausible as well.

I'm pretty sure he meant 2500px total. ( so a picture 50x50 pixels would be a valid entry, but not 30x100)
