Anyhow as for animals, several things could be done... though I am not sure how helpful they could be
1) An expansion of available biomes to add in sub-biomes: Unfortunately lacking functional data (or knowledge) on this, I have some fading recollection that certain biomes like the Savanah have several subsets and degrees that set them appart from others.
2) Animal grouping: If we have 10 different wolves and 100 other canine creatures. Having 5 exist in one biome may be excessive.
3) Cull Animals that do not differ from others and instead expand the biome availability of the parent animal.
4) Include size and diet to diversify the food chains.
I do not see too much of a problem having lions in the same biomes as Koalas (well except that they both live in entirely different biomes... but lets say they do) as otherwise we might as well handle biomes as just countries. I see more of a problem with how the game handles and excessive amount of information, especially if this information
Though to admit the one thing I personally think has more problems, and will aggrivate me more, is the "Fantasy Ark". Too many monsters have motives, powers, weaknesses, and ethics that the game simply doesn't handle (and likely never will) and thus in order to fit them all in they will have to be butchered and cookie cut into the game. This isn't even including creatures such as Tunuki, Faeries, or even Djinn that don't even have consolidated mythos and have been both extremely malicious and malevolent (Which can be handled either by making them two different creatures or by giving the creatures the capacity to be either). I really would rather have them done somewhat right then done.
-That and people will probably try to put in things like Cthuhu, Dungeons and Dragons monsters, and stuff.
Though unlike the animals. The Fantasy Ark does present me with more of a problem in terms of vision. A lot of creatures just seem to fit together with creatures of the same origin. Though I guess having the MANY Japanese Undead next to the MANY Celtic Elves and Fairies (I think they had multiple) wouldn't be so bad.
Also... "200th page!" honestly? I thought more of you guys and you spam the thread with this?
