We can't assume it'll be released when the last item is greened out; I'm sure there will be some final bugtesting and such.

I am actually reminded somewhat of ants, or at least of SimAnt...

How about this: dwarves needing materials will start with a random search; if they find what they're looking for, they pick it up, and leave a trail of pheremones job-conditional high-traffic designation leading back to the anthill workshop!

They stole your idea

That is awesome beyond words and reminds me also of the old "Nature Did It First" feature in Ranger Rick magazine.

Bug fixing is not a job to be underestimated.  If it's released by mid-January, I'll be quite pleased.  Better that than getting a tantalizing taste with a game-breaking bug in a few weeks.

Not to mention all the stuff Tarn did while doing the countdown, before he decided he preferred the list format...

CobaltKobald,

Yes, but none of that (what he completed early on in this dev cycle) is included in the list, AFAIK.

But game-breaking bugs are almost as fun as losing!

Amon Kongaskin is happy. He lost a mother to tragedy lately. He has admired a sublime sleep recently.

Oddly enough there are animals who can accidently hibernate forever and die.

Well ok... one that I am aware of.
