Coat a metal container with a bit of wax (tallow should work too) and presto! (mildly) acidproof metal. :)

I'd like to see the alchemists shop needing several vials and retorts etc to construct. maybe even several differentiated shops for different (al)chemical processes.
custom workshops are going to be fun!

Offcourse (custom) medicine and disease effects would be nice to have before modding all sorts of still useless chemical products.

I have a quick suggestion regarding the military revamp.

I think it would be appropriate to remove "Wrestler" as a profession (Not as a skill!).  The reason being is that almost everyone trains their soldiers to a very high wrestling skill before anything else, so the outcome is commonly having everyone in your army appear as a "Wrestler" even though they all use weapons.

Which fighting skill a soldier is labeled with shouldn't include wrestling, since it's a skill they all need.  It's akin to "armor user" and "shield user" to me.

I think you would be better of with putting that in the suggestion forum but I agree with you wrestling is an important skill which every soldier needs and it would be annoying to have all your soldiers show up as wrestlers even if they use weapons (it would be even worse having your whole military show up as armour specialist or somthing :P ).

With the splitting up of the Wrestling skills you will no longer have that problem with Wrestlers.

Wrestlers will be the actual Dwarves who actually Wrestle.
