Step One: Allow the existence of prosthetic.
Step Two: Fashion a set of prosthetic genitalia that would shame a moose. Make sure it menaces with spikes of everything.
Step Three: ???
Step Four: Profit!

Alternately...

Step One: Allow the existence of prosthetic.
Step Two: Fashion a set of prosthetic genitalia that would shame a moose. Make sure it menaces with spikes of everything.
Step Three: Shame a moose.
Step Four: Hey, look everybody. You shamed a moose.

Wouldn't that BE a menacing spike? ;D
Yes... but you want to be able to hit the moose's G-spot.

Liches are undead because they have killed themselves

Wait what? They never did that... OHHH I see your using Dungeons and Dragons.

Liches don't need to have ever been dead.

Well, given that the modern lich originated in D&D, it seems like a logical step to make.  The name is a word used by IIRC, Gutner Fox to refer to a corpse, from Ye Olde English, reappropriated by Gygax.  The whole phylactery thing is made up almost entirely by Gygax, although there is a bit of influence from Russian myth.

Well for the most part... Spelling Magic as Magik or Magick is used as a way to avoid the connotations associated with the term "Magic"

Think of it in the same way Zombies are NEVER, alright sometimes, called zombies in zombie movies.

Think of it in the same way Zombies are NEVER, alright sometimes, called zombies in zombie movies.

Which can be frustratingly annoying at times.

"Oh my god! What arrrrrre those things?"
"Durrrrrrr, they appear to be... walking... dead!"
"Shoot that............ thing!"

It's curious though. All those zombie nerds who love to say what is a zombie and what isn't don't seem to remember the dictionary definition of a zombie... Heck, we all qualify being called a zombie if we sit in front of the TV and do nothing for 5 hours. Don't have to be dead.

One more reason to love Shaun of the Dead.

Well it isn't ENTIRELY illplaced... The Horror Genre contains a lot of stupid.

Or shall we forget all those "Horror" movies that simply HAD monsters but otherwise weren't attempting to be scary in anyway shape or form.

Or maybe I am mistaken... Perhaps horror just means you HAVE monsters. So if I were to make a series where a Single parent father actually was a werewolf and had to try to fight the right balance between being a good father and being a rather dog-like wolfman... It would be horror.

There could be preset curses/diseases that could be used by different entities or civilizations. An Elven Druid could punish an excessive Dwarven Logging Industry by cursing a mountain range, so that the trees uprooted themselves and stormed the Fortress.

Actually the phylactery is taken entirely from Slavic myth only somewhat simplified (As well as the whole myth about Liches, which is essentially simply a powerful sorceror who put his soul away in an attempt to be immortal) . If you had read the legend of Kochei you would be aware of this.  D&D made only a few original critters and the liche isn't one of them.

The broken-armed dwarf understood that he needed to run off to the hospital zone properly, but care never came, because I'm still working on that. Poor little buddy.

He's now surrounded by many skilled medical professionals. They still aren't all that useful, but just their presence must be encouraging for him. Well, I guess that's not true either.

Oh Toady, you sick magnificent bastard.
