Does that mean the obligatory lunatics in the hfs? Or did the demons now get worshippers by corrupting abducted people? The later would be pretty interesting and might be a base for a demons later power if he has some meat shields cultists underlings from the beginning - with a possible cultists nation arising from the offspring. Luring people away from theyr parent-civ and making them underlings would be a nice way for less powerfull demons like Frogdemons or tentacle demons.

Speaking of the later (the tentacled) could you give them the spheres for fertility, Pregnancy, lust and torture plus the ability to stand in as "gods". It would fit the trope.

I've spotted a few gods in legends before that could very well be a tentacled demon in disguise. Although there are a couple of fertility/beauty/love gods in real world mythology, theres Cupid, Balder (Norse god of beauty pretty much), and..... thats all I know of, but I'm sure theres more.

That's just referring to how they have [POWER]. They don't abduct anyone, they just usurp divinity, or kill their way into the goblin hierarchy. Only happens if they get up to the surface, naturally.

As to the demons attacking their followers, I think it refers to things that are [POWER] killing the guys they are supposed to rule. Perhaps kinda like the civil war bug?

I think its because demons are handled like anything is that isn't a civ member, IE they want to kill everything and rape your mom while chewing on your father's face. That or its just regular goblin internal relations, if you look at goblin pages on legends you'll see they tend to murder eachother for little to no reason. Legends don't actualy show the reason behind it yet.
