Which gives me a thought:

Has the bug where magma buildings are unbuildable on reclaim been fixed in the new release? I'm sure you and Zach and the other testers have done a few reclaims by now.

Yes, it seems to have been fixed, although I believe there are other issues with reclaim at the moment.
Correction:  It has not been fixed.  It happens when you embark on a volcano or anywhere else with pre-exposed magma, abandon, then reclaim.

Magma? The problem? Heresy!

He's referring to the bug where magma buildings aren't buildable on reclaim because the game thinks the magma is undiscovered, even when the path has already been opened.

Which gives me a thought:

Has the bug where magma buildings are unbuildable on reclaim been fixed in the new release? I'm sure you and Zach and the other testers have done a few reclaims by now.

Perhaps this problem could be solved simply by enabling magma buildings from the start without needing to wait for magma to be discovered? The player can't build them anyway without magma, and what harm does it do to have them on the menu beforehand?

It might even be better if they just used the same buildings. Then (i) we won't have this problem and (ii) we avoid cluttering the menu with practically identical buildings. So basically just change the code so that when it checks for available fuel, it first checks to see if one of the 8 tiles has access to magma.

I dunno, I'd like to keep it with magma buildings and coal buildings. Enabling magma buildings from the start is a good idea, though.
