With that many earrings, you run out of normal places to pierce rather quickly. Reminds me of the persian emperor from 300.

On that note, my (modded) creatures tend to pierce a very, err, specific place for their earrings, instead of their ears.  Disturbing mental image of 300 earrings in that place.

With your own adventurer, there's a logical limit on how much jewelery you can equip/wear, but there is not for world-gen'd people.

Little known fact, if your adventurer slays a bunch of things and you retire him/her, go back with another adventurer and check them out, they will also be decked out in trophies of what they killed while you adventured with them.
