Hooray! I have a funny hat!

One south, snag the Grate, two north.

South South, face south

SEENN

See ya, sucker!

Bring the grate up here. It's easier to protect with a sword or a spear guy in front of you, because the spear guy can defend and the sword guy can attack.

And the battle descriptions are good. Very good. EXCELLENT.

And swords are only overpowered because of the movement bonus.

WWSW, face south. Going into the tunnels where backup might be needed.

Of course, the one time I get lucky enough to have my attacker roll a 1...

North North North West

I don't know about peace with the south.  I agree that the north has gotten far too strong.  Also, it seems that we just lost our best shot at the grate, so perhaps something like that would be worth it.  What do you think Strife?

SWWW

Like it was said before I like the descriptions, they add more flavor to this game.

Idea for next game: one word weapon styles.

The idea would be that you'd choose all the normal stuff, but also pick one word to describe how you kill stuff. The point would be not only to make Fey's kickass descriptions of a type that you particularly like, but also to give him some inspiration. I know that if I were running this game, I might run out of ideas after a while. If I couldn't think of a kill description for someone, but their style was, let's say, "skullcaving," it would help me think something up.

Something about caving in skulls.

On the contrary, if Strife gets his move in before Duke can next turn, he'll be able to attack.

And why assume that Strife will get his move in?

I'm merely saying that your statement was conditionally false.  I gave no evidence to support whether the condition itself was true or false.

And Strife, I'm willing to go with them for now.  The middle path is there to preserve balance, which currently is absent.
