Also, in the event that I'm attacked, I intend to belly up in a corner and kill any attackers with my spear.

O.K. everyone except for webadict has made their move. I will give him another twelve hours from this post to do so before we start the next turn.

One north, four east, facing east.

Wonder how long it'll be before I find a southerner...

East east east east shoot Duke face north.

Not that I don't trust you Duke, it's just that I don't trust you.

Yay, combat! I predict that Cheeetar will miss and then get his head caved in by a mace.

And for this trick, I shall reconsider and notice I am actually four squares away and not five squares away from Duke.
Edit: No wait. I have a 1/2 chance of hitting with my crossbow. And then, he has to roll higher than my roll. So, I have a higher chance. So, I'm going to do it. Unless someone asks me if I'm feeling lucky in a gruff voice, which may make me reconsider.

Ermm how did you figure that one out? I probably haven't explained the rules very well but after the 1/2 chance of hitting and three sided die is used to see how much damage is done, not he has to roll higher.

Altogether there is a 1/6 chance you kill him, 1/6 chance you immobilize him and 4/6 chance you miss altogether. Hmm maybe the crossbow is a little underpowered. Anyway you can only take your move back until Duke responds with his move.

Oh, so you're counting the square he is on as distance?
Anyway, the him rolling higher than me thing, I was talking about him charging me with hammer.

No, there will be four squares between you, the arrow simply shows you the direction he is facing not the square he is on.

Ok, 1/2 chance of hitting. 1/3 chance of no damage, 1/3 chance of death and 1/3 chance of immobilisation. 4/6 chance of nothing, 1/6 chance of death, 1/6 chance of paralyzation (sic?). (I just noticed you already said this)

For the war-hammer, since I am facing him, there is a -1 to my roll. If he rolls a 6, I am dead no matter what. 1/6 chance of instadeath. The others I get a chance to roll against.

What happens on a tie?
