The Mason's Guild wishes to express its sympathies towards the Metalsworker's Guildmaster. An investigations is of high priority for we must stop such violence at its roots, and prevent any such future events from occurring.

The Fortress guard would also like to express it's condolences to the leader of the metalworker's guild and would like to announce that it will designate a small group which shall be named  whose sole purpose will be to find the murderer at all costs and see them brought to justice. We simply cannot tolerate such a heinous crime especially when it is commited against a council member's kin.

The fortress guard would also like to request any information regarding the murders to be delivered directly to it's captain. Rest assured that it will be refered straight to the  investigation squad, also we would be happy to work with the royal guard on the matter as long as they remember whose duty it is to deal with criminals and respect our boundries.

Finally the fortress guard would like to remind the council that the investigation squad has full civil durisdiction and may be permitted to question any dwarf and for full effect would like to request complete search rights from the guild masters so that the perpertraitor can be brought to justice immediately.

The Farmer's Alliance agrees with the Fortress Guard and will offer what help that it can. Furthermore, the Farmer's Alliance would like to request regular updates to the Council by the Fortress Guard regarding the progress of the investigation.

As a fulfillment of a campaign promise, the Farmer's Alliance would like to announce that it will be allowing only those who have elected planting as their profession to harvest plants, so that they will have more work, instead of the previous policy of letting anyone nearby pluck crops from the field and placing them in the stockpile. The previous policy negatively affected crop growth, as many crops were harvested before they were mature by too eager children and nobles.

As a celebration of the Farmer's Alliance gaining a seat on the Council, there will be free drinks until the end of the day.

the military, in light of the recent events, regarding the riots, and the reimprisonment of certain citizens, would like to send any available forces who are not already assigned to the expansion project to assists the fortress guard. may this all be behind us soon.

The Mason's Guild is in agreement, the Fortress proper must be protected above all else. IT is unlikely that goblins or other threats will prove to be too difficult to handle with only a squad or two of dwarves.
