I would rather discuss on how to make this game more realistically simulate a terrorist insurgency, altough of course, it would defeat the point of the game being, you know, funny.

That would be an awesome game, none the less.

Several starting points, from being a disillusioned white-collar worker who wants to shake the world, to the poor Afghani boy whose father was killed by the Americans.

It'd be epic if done right. From picking up your first gun, to demanding ransom from the UN.

Oh yeah. Demanding ransom from a huge army is a good idea.

UN has no military power unless someone loans them an army...  They are an organization for world peace after all.

Demanding ransoms also works better if the people you're demanding it from don't know where you are.

I for a(real) example don't care if two men want to marry each other, unless I'm involved at all...

Do you mean that if a good friend you had turned out to be gay and invite you to his gay marriage (and a lot of other non-gay people), you would avoid it? Does that count as being involved, or do you mean you wouldn't like to be the filling in the middle of a gay sandwich?

Just curious.

I believe the most used term for moderates is "radical moderate."

I like this term.  In my mind, it summons the notion of the armies of Turkey or Lebanon who can become quite fanatical about preserving the middle course.  Fanatical moderate might be a good term too.

Take to the streets and shout, "BE REASONABLE!"

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

"Wanna hear something semi-interesting?"
"Maybe."
"Some people say nuclear power is good, others say it's bad. I say it's goodbad."
"I don't give a shit."

After more discussion, Moderate Joe agrees to come by later tonight. Or not.

Thank you.  :D

I had been planning to lurk around here for a few more days before dipping my toe in, but this thread alone seems to have encapsulated the community.  That, and the week I've been skimming through threads.

But, I just had to whip through reg to step in and say "BRAVO!"  Thanks for this little exchange that is perfect enough to be immortalized!  ;D
